My challenge came to a screeching halt 3 weeks ago after I posted about my 30+ miles of activity on Tuesday.
On April 11, Tom was on his way home, on his bike after going to the gym, and was clipped by a car that was drifting into the bike lane. If that wasn't enough, the driver did not stop. This is what happens to a person that is trying to keep up their physical condition. Tom had surgery to repair his fractured pelvis. Two and half weeks later, he has less pain and is healing up day by day. His follow-up appointment this week was good as he had his stitches removed and demonstrated for his doctor what he is able to do just 2 weeks past his surgery. He is on track with healing up and should be out and about in no time! We hope...
With that, my challenge is on hold indefinitely and I will start-up again once the man has sufficiently healed from his surgery.
